Castel bin collection days

The Castel is Guernsey’s largest parish, stretching across the west and centre of the island, and its refuse page sets out the island’s pay-as-you-throw system plainly: food waste is collected weekly on your bin night, and the other materials are fortnightly, alternating between glass with blue bags one week and black sacks with clear bags the next. Bags without stickers are not collected.

Last checked against 3 sources (www.castelparish.com, www.gov.gg).

Check your bin day

Use Castel’s own page for your bin day

Guernsey collection nights come from the States of Guernsey’s My Bin Night address search, which runs in the browser and is not something BinWeek’s lookup service can query, so the page links to it and to the parish and lets you set your own bin night.
