St Pierre du Bois bin collection days

St Pierre du Bois, in the south-west of Guernsey, collects everything on a Tuesday or Wednesday night. Which bags go out follows the island’s two-week cycle: in a clear bag week you also put out food waste and the stickered black bag, and in a blue bag week food waste and glass. Orange stickers are for 50 litre bags and green stickers for 90 litre bags.

Last checked against 2 sources (stpierredubois.org, www.gov.gg).

Guernsey collection nights come from the States of Guernsey’s My Bin Night address search, which runs in the browser and is not something BinWeek’s lookup service can query, so the page links to it and to the parish and lets you set your own bin night.

Your nearest tip

Good to know in St Pierre du Bois

  • All collections in the parish are on a Tuesday or Wednesday night. The parish links to the States of Guernsey’s My Bin Night for your own night and week, and publishes a calendar download on its refuse page.
  • The week decides the bags. In a clear bag week put out the clear bag, your food waste and your black bag; in a blue bag week put out the blue bag, your food waste and your glass.
  • Every black bag needs a prepaid refuse charge sticker: orange for 50 litre bags and green for 90 litre bags. There is no limit on the number of black bags on a black bag night provided each is stickered, and recycling bags need no sticker.
  • Problems should be reported to the parish as soon as possible, preferably before midday on the day following the collection.
  • The parish reminds residents that disposing of rubbish anywhere other than a certified tip, or dropping litter in a public place, is an offence.
