St Brelade bin collection days

St Brelade, in the south-west of Jersey, is one of the few parishes where glass is collected every week alongside the weekly refuse round. The parish publishes a full list of roads for each weekday, Monday to Friday, with Quennevais Parade served every day, and the rounds are run by Premier Waste Management Ltd.

Check your bin day

Use St Brelade’s own page for your bin day

Jersey parishes publish their collection days as road lists, calendars or PDFs rather than an address lookup BinWeek can query, so the page links to the parish’s own list and you can set your own bin day.

These dates are the ones you enter. BinWeek does not get them from St Brelade. Check them on the council’s site (opens in a new tab) (stbrelade.je).

If your bin was missed

St Brelade’s appointed contractors are Premier Waste Management Ltd, and the parish page gives their number, 01534 741185, for any query about the collection. Use that for a bin that was missed. The Government of Jersey directs missed collections to the parish rather than to a central service.

Good to know in St Brelade

  • Collection days are published road by road on the parish page. Broadly, the Monday round covers the St Aubin area, including Le Boulevard, Mont les Vaux and Route de la Haule; Tuesday takes in Noirmont, Portelet and the Pont Marquet estates; Wednesday covers Corbière, La Pulente, Beauport and the Route Orange area; Thursday serves Les Quennevais, Beauport Estate and the Tabor roads; and Friday is a shorter list including Belle Vue Estate, Charing Cross and Mont Nicolle. Check your own road on the list, as a few roads appear under more than one day.
  • Quennevais Parade is the one address collected every day of the week.
  • The parish asks for refuse in a suitable bin or receptacle, never a plastic sack or box. It says waste scattered by scavenging birds and rodents is the householder’s responsibility and that the collector may refuse sacks.
  • Unlike most of Jersey, glass is collected weekly for recycling here. It must still be rinsed, have lids removed and be kept apart from household refuse, and glass that is not sorted and cleaned may be left.
  • St Brelade adds electrical items and building rubble to the usual Jersey list of things that will not be taken with refuse. The Government of Jersey’s A to Z recycling finder covers where those go.
