Check your bin day

Use St Ouen’s own page for your bin day

Jersey parishes publish their collection days as road lists, calendars or PDFs rather than an address lookup BinWeek can query, so the page links to the parish’s own list and you can set your own bin day.

These dates are the ones you enter. BinWeek does not get them from St Ouen. Check them on the council’s site (opens in a new tab) (stouen.je).

Good to know in St Ouen

  • Refuse is weekly, on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday depending on where you live. The parish page gives the pattern rather than a road list, so ring the Parish Hall if you are new and unsure.
  • Glass follows a monthly Friday rota based on your refuse day: a Monday refuse round has glass on the first Friday of the month, Tuesday on the second Friday, Wednesday on the third Friday and Thursday on the fourth Friday.
  • When a refuse or glass day falls on a bank holiday, any change is published on the parish Latest News page rather than on the collections page.
  • Refuse goes in a bin or receptacle, never a plastic sack or box, and liquids such as cooking oil and paint are not allowed because they can leak onto the road. Garden refuse is not collected.
  • Glass must be rinsed, lids off and kept separate; glass that is not sorted and cleaned may not be collected. The parish names Bellozanne as the place for fluorescent tubes, sodium lamps and UV lamps.
