St Clement bin collection days

St Clement, on Jersey’s south-east coast between St Helier and Grouville, publishes its refuse days as a plain list of roads for each weekday from Monday to Friday. Household waste is collected every week, as it is across Jersey, and glass is collected separately and recycled rather than going in with the rubbish.

Last checked against 3 sources (www.gov.je, stclement.je).

Check your bin day

Use St Clement’s own page for your bin day

Jersey parishes publish their collection days as road lists, calendars or PDFs rather than an address lookup BinWeek can query, so the page links to the parish’s own list and you can set your own bin day.

If your bin was missed

The Government of Jersey says a missed collection is reported to the parish you live in, with contact details for each Parish Hall on the Comité des Connétables website. St Clement’s refuse page itself is a list of collection days and does not give a separate missed-bin route, so contact the Parish Hall.

Good to know in St Clement

  • The parish page is a road list. Monday covers the Pontac and Le Bourg end of the parish, including Grande Route de la Côte and the stretch of Grande Route de St Clément from the Grouville border to Pontorson Lane. Tuesday takes in Victoria Road, Green Road, Samarès Avenue, Le Squez Road and School Road. Wednesday covers Georgetown Park Estate, St Luke’s Crescent and the Clos de Roncier area. Thursday serves Plat Douet Road, Grève d’Azette, the Avenue roads and St Clement Gardens. Friday covers Rue de la Chapelle, Rue du Hocq, Sydney Crill Park and the Blinerie roads. A handful of roads appear under two days, so check your own entry.
  • The parish page does not describe containers or glass days, so the Island-wide rules from the Government of Jersey apply: you need your own wheelie or regular bin, and glass is collected separately, monthly or weekly depending on where you live.
  • Large and hazardous items are not taken with household waste anywhere in Jersey: furniture, mattresses, large appliances, televisions and electrical goods, and solvent-based paints and chemicals. The Government of Jersey’s A to Z recycling finder says where they go.
  • Glass must be free of other materials, including plastic bags, before it is collected. If other things are found in a glass bin it may not be emptied until they are removed.
